We had a blast at market this past week, searching for gorgeous things for Julia Farr.
Max Mara had a well-balanced collection filled with color and novelty: greys, sage green, antique rose, and black are the anchor colors to the collection’s Fall debut. Further into the season, the designer brings in camel, orange, dark brown, dark red and beige to his sophisticated and luxurious designs. We fell in love with the wool and cashmere coats with fur collars, large knit cable sweaters and sweater dresses in both neutrals and brights. The camel wrap coat is stunning beyond belief!
Amy Matto makes the most beautiful dresses, for work and play. Here we are with the designer herself…
Ann is buying this dress – perfect for holiday parties next year!
Catherine Malandrino relaunched her collection for Fall 2012 with the very best designs that she is known for — pointelle knit dresses, stunning silk blouses, and gorgeous jewel-toned knits. Her price point has dropped a bit which makes most pieces in her collection more accessible.
For Fall ’12, Lafayette 148 New York’s collection strikes a balance between cool modernism and warm sensuality. Vibrant colors, textured materials and graphic prints move throughout their Fall collection. And fur was everywhere! Oh, and red wine, too!
It was a fabulous, exhausting, exciting three days.
