The Jefferson Jacket
Ah, Mr. Jefferson. His profound influence on our nation’s government, history and architecture resonates throughout the District of Columbia, and beyond. Like Jefferson, we considered classicism when designing the Jefferson jacket, while incorporating ideas from the contemporary world.
The Jefferson jacket is an enlightened update to an everyday basic, with precise seaming on the shoulders to ensure a perfect feminine fit and three-quarter length sleeves, allowing for ease of movement. The collarless neckline, nipped-in waist and hidden hook and eye front closures maintain the jacket’s streamlined look. There are two usable front patch pockets, decorated with understated fringe and, a special surprise, two kick pleats in the back. Made in a luxurious wool tweed, and lined for comfort, the Jefferson jacket is versatile enough to wear to the office with a skirt or tailored trousers or with jeans to a Saturday afternoon football game.
