Dear You Look Pretty Readers,
Sorry for our long absence from the blogosphere. The good news is that our businesses have been very good. The bad news is that we have been so busy with work, we didn’t make the time for our blog.
In the past few months, we have had an amazing time together as friends and business partners, hosting trunk shows, finalizing all the elegant details for our Fall 2013 line and creating exciting new designs for Spring 2014.
We also celebrated the 25th reunion of our graduation from Georgetown during an amazing, fun-filled weekend in early June.

The Day after Graduation
On the roof of the House of Sweden, overlooking the Potomac River
Our class had the unique opportunity to have the Tombs entirely to ourselves for one night – which made us all feel like we were 21 again. The next night, we had a wonderful party on campus, and capped off the weekend with a lovely evening at the House of Sweden, on the banks of the Potomac river. As a special treat, one of our classmates rented out his old house, and he kept the party going all night long, all weekend long, fueled by wine, music and kegs of beer. Again, nothing makes you feel like you’re young like standing around a keg, working the pump and tilting your red plastic Solo cup just so, in order to keep the foam to a minimum. Like riding a bike, it all came back to us.
If you have the opportunity to return to your alma mater for your 25th, we highly recommend that you do so. Unlike previous reunions, it seemed as though everyone was more concerned with “How are you?” rather than “What do you do?” Older and wiser? I hope so.
We’ve finally recovered from the keg beer and all the wild dancing to 80’s tunes and we are ready to talk more fashion with you all, but, always, balanced with friendship, with one another and with all of you!
Thanks for sticking with us!
Ann and Julie
