It’s time to roll out our Fall line for the Julia Farr Collection! We are so excited to show you the designs that have been in the works for over 6 months.

This collection marks our one-year anniversary since our official launch last October. So much has happened over the past year and we have learned so much about the business of fashion and design. We are grateful to all of our friends and family for all of your support.

Over the next week, we will introduce you to one of our new designs every day – along with the background on it’s name, and information about the fit and how to wear it.

So, let’s get started!

The Dumbarton Dress

Dumbarton Oaks, a sprawling, historic estate, boasts 10 acres of formal, public garden space, providing an island of tranquility in the heart of Georgetown. The sophistication of the meticulously planned formal gardens and graceful terraces mirrors the elegant details and craftsmanship in our Dumbarton Dress.

This dress is the epitome of grace in design and movement, perfect for those days when you have to run from the office to a swanky dinner, or for any-time-of-the-day weddings.  The deep vee neckline and fitted, feminine bodice of the dress is juxtaposed yet balanced by the box-pleated, voluminous skirt that falls to mid-knee.  A hidden treat – pockets in the skirt! The self-sash can be knotted or bowed in front or back.

Self: 10% Wool Crepe, Lining: 100% Rayon

Dry Clean Only

Ann: The wool crepe used for this dress is divine! It is so soft, not itchy at all and has the most beautiful drape.

Julie: It is the consummate Audrey Hepburn dress. Perfect with ballet flats for the Audrey look or back to boots or sling backs for day or evening. I just love the look and feel of the Dumbarton in grey!

Available in store and online at Julia Farr and at Hudson and Jane
